Dear Medical Students, Graduates and Doctors,
Today we proudly announce the start of a USMLE Step 1 preparatory course at the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center (http://edu.dote.hu) in Hungary with the assistance of Kaplan (www.kaptesteurope.com), a well-known international educational company to build up cooperation that would provide high-quality teaching for medical students.

USMLE
Entering residency in the United States of America requires the Educational Committee for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification, which can be obtained after successfully taking the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 and 2. USMLE assesses a physician's ability to apply knowledge, concepts, and principles, and to demonstrate fundamental patient-centered skills, that are important in health and disease and that constitute the basis of safe and effective patient care. Step 1 assesses whether the examinee understands and able to apply important concepts of the sciences basic to the practice of medicine. Step 1 ensures mastery of not only the sciences that provide a foundation for the safe and competent practice of medicine in the present, but also the scientific principles required for maintenance of competence through lifelong learning (www.usmle.org).

PREPARATORY COURSE
This course ensures that the applicants gain ample information in the subjects that are covered by exam, providing opportunity to finish in the high percentiles.

. Pathology: 3 days - 7 hours each or 21 hours total
. Pharmacology: 3 days - 7 hours each or 21 hours total
. Physiology: 3 days - 7 hours each or 21 hours total
. Behavioral Science: 1 day - 6 hours or 6 hours total
. Test Taking: 2 hours

. 6-months of online questions through Qbank Plus (more than 3,000 basic science review questions and full-length simulated exams)
